London Irish LGBT Network – Notice of AGM
The next Annual General Meeting of the London Irish LGBT Network will be held on Zoom on 22 October 2024 at 19:00.

Election of the officers and committee will take place in the order indicated above.
Only members in full standing will be eligible to stand for any position on the committee or to nominate or vote for candidates. To be in full standing, members should have their annual membership paid before 15 October 2024. Payment can be made to the Paypal account in the usual way.
Any members wishing to raise a motion at the meeting can submit that motion for inclusion.
Also, any members wishing to stand for election to any position may submit a brief summary about themselves and why they are standing so this can be for included in the pre-meeting papers. This is particularly relevant for anyone wishing to stand as an officer, and who may not be currently well known amongst other members.
MEMBERSHIP
As part of our voting system at our AGM, it was previously recommended also that all Irish groups and societies have a minimal membership fee.
We’ll leave the link here for you to pay £5 membership or whatever you can afford.
Over the past year, we have been very lucky to receive a grant from the Emigrant Support Programme. This year, it paid for our web hosting and domain as well as our Zoom costs for meetings as well as promotional materials. However, we don’t have any extra money for any incidentals that may occur. This is what we use our membership monies for.

*Please be aware that due to PayPal rules, the account name will show up as that of our current Chair. This is our LILGBT account and any monies received will go directly to the group.*
A couple of members have asked for other ways to pay for membership.
You may have heard of Patreon, a system where content creators or organisations can have a subscription where you get videos / blogs /perks earlier than everyone else. We have chosen a similar service called KO-FI.
