Pride in London 2019

Pride Flags - London Irish LGBT NetworkWe are delighted that we will be taking part in Pride here in London again this year, especially poignant as it’s the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall Riot which really kick started the fight for gay liberation and equality.

If you’ve been to London Pride before, you’ll know that to take part in the parade itself, you must have a wristband. We do have a limited amount of these for our members.

If you’re interested in joining us for the parade on July 6th email jameskberkery@gmail.com. James will be coordinating everyone at the meeting point on the day.

UPDATE: We will be walking in the parade in Section “C”.

Have a great day, stay safe and don’t forget the sunscreen!

Unfortunately, reports of hate crimes against the LGBTQ community are on the rise in the UK.

So we’re teaming up with Galop for an evening of information about the services they offer to our community in combating crime, violence and domestic abuse.

Keep your diary free!

Thursday 27th June at 7pm.

Join us at 190 Iverson Road, London, NW6 2HL.

We all had a blast for St Patrick’s Day so, we thought it would be nice to have another informal get together.

Please join us for the FREE LGBTQ tour at Victoria and Albert Museum on Saturday next, March 30th. We’ll meet at reception at 3.45pm, look out for the little Irish flag!

Also please remember to give yourself time to get through security!

Friends and allies welcome. It would be great to see you all!

Find out more about the tour at the V&A website.
