There was a fantastic turnout for the reading of Colm Clifford’s ‘Friends of Rio Rita’.

Special thanks to all the gang at Lewisham Irish Centre for allowing us to host the event in Lewisham and also for making us feel so welcome, much appreciated. Thanks must also go to the tireless Stephe Melloy from Lewisham LGBT Forum for helping us organise the event.

The event was the brainchild of our secretary, John Lloyd and we must thank the executors of Colm’s estate for allowing us to use his work and also for attending the event.
