Meet Up // Q &A with Musician and Activist, Dyvr

Dear Friends, we hope you’re all keeping well.

It looks like you are all enjoying our monthly virtual meetups! Here’s a new date for your diary.

Join us on December 9th at 8pm our monthly virtual meetup. This time our special guest will be musical artist / LGBTQ activist, DYVR.

Originally from London, Dyvr has been based in Belfast and has been working to open up safe spaces to LGBTQ musicians.

He runs ‘Queer Story Time’ online which allows people to tell their own Queer story. This platform has also initiated healing family rifts for some of its participants.

Along with his partner, Dyvr has also designed a range of queer earrings, or Quearrings.

If all that wasn’t enough, Dyvr has become a stalwart of the Irish music scene. He has been releasing music with Dublin based Veta Records and was one of the artists who played at this year’s Ireland Music Week. He uses ‘electronics to create songs about the constraints of sexuality and gender, and how love is found and expressed through those constraints’.

Join us for our now monthly meet up and this month, Q&A with Dyvr, it’s sure to be a fun filled evening!

It’s our aim to provide a safe space for Irish LGBTQ friends and allies to chat but as we’re in an online world right now, you’re more than welcome to join us no matter where you are located or what your nationality is.

Our events normally last between 60-90 minutes.

You can book a ticket to the event here or via the widget below.
